Knowledge Management

Knowledge Management provides a practice whereby employee insights and experiences are identified, recorded, used and maintained as an organizational learning tool. These insights and experiences consist of knowledge held by individuals or knowledge embedded within organizational processes or practices.

At the individual level, there are two categories of knowledge: tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge. Tacit knowledge is often so well internalized that employees are usually not aware of it. Conversely, explicit knowledge is the knowledge that individuals are conscious of and can be readily articulated.

The OASYS Group provides an array of Knowledge Management services to help organizations document and manage intellectual property. We help validate and document both explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge, which can reduce training time required to onboard new employees and help existing employees adapt to changing environments.
